Master class with Bob Long

Arthur Murray Montclair is pleased to welcome Bob Long on March 5th. Mr. Long holds titles as a professional United States and North American ballroom dance champion. Additionally, he is a world championship adjudicator. Mr. Long will be teaching a Waltz Master Class at Arthur Murray Montclair as well as meeting with students individually for private coaching lessons. Mr. Long has been voted Best Dance Teacher in America Six Times!  Private Coaching lessons also available by appointment.

It’s getting cold outside, but things are heating up at Arthur Murray Monclair!

We are half way through the Tournament of Champions and it has been great watching our students get dressed up for our themed dance parties.

Practice makes perfect as they say, and we’re delighted that the following students will be honored at

Medal Ball on December 18th.

The graduation cermony will include dinner and dancing. Lots of ballroom dancing in fact, because we have a lot of graduates to praise. So here’s an early congratulations to the following graduates for having completed their check out:

Medal Ball will be attended by Arthur Murray certified judge Bobby Gonzalez. For those wanting a chance to get a judges opinion on their dancing skills Bobby will be in the studio on Monday, December 19th, to teach a Salsa Master class and offer both private coaching. Our family is growing!

Arthur Murray Montclair is pleased to welcome three new staff members to it’s team! Our newest ballroom instructors are: Lori Levine, Rae Wilson, and MannyRosales.
Additionally, Britt Evans from Arthur Murray Forth Worth will be teaching a Master Class in Montclair on October 19th. Britt is a former finalist competitor in American Smooth, Rhythm, and International Standard. This is rare treat and one not to miss.

Series Class for September is Country Western!

Join us Saturdays in September and grab your cowboy boots because we are doin’ a little two-steppin’ ! Called Texas Two-Step, Country Two-Step or even Three-Step, this dance might have many names but it has only one kind of FUN! Made famous in the movie “Urban Cowboy”, Two-Step is a fast-moving dance full of spins and turns and is sure to bring a smile to the face of any dancer!

Monday Evening Bronze Series!

Monday Night Bronze Series Class – RUMBA!

The nights are getting cool and the summer might be over, but you have something fun and a bit romantic to look forward to in September! Due to the Rumba’s slow and sensual feel this dance can be paired with a traditional latin slow song, a Motown ballad or any night club slow music. Rumba is a must have dance in your repertoire and is a favorite for any wedding first dance!
